Ask me about Jesus

I don't believe in coincidence, or accidental providence. You are reading this page for a reason. Maybe it's a curiosity sparked by a need, (perceived or not). It may even be God's Holy Spirit leading you.

The members of this family are all Born-Again Christians. We are all old enough to know and say so, by choice. Jesus is alive in our hearts. We count on God's Holy Spirit to guide us through our daily choices. At it's simplest, it means we ask ourselves "What would be most pleasing to Jesus in our daily choices?"

There is a scripture that answers the question "What does God want of me?"

Mic:6:8: He (God) hath shewed thee, O man (us), what is good; (according to God) and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, (just do what is right) and to love mercy, (have compassion for others with pure motives) and to walk humbly with thy God? (have a personal, un-pretentious daily walk with God.)

Jesus (God's Only begotten son) lived as we live, to show us that if we invite God's Holy Spirit into our lives, and we listen to (obey) His guidance, we too can be victorious over the temptations of the world, just as He was. He is my strength and my joy.

Jesus (God's Sacrificial Lamb) died in our place to pay our debt for the sin in our lives, not His, to show us that God has given us His best, that we might share our life with Him. I share my life with Jesus.

Jesus (Our resurrected Savoir) lives and is seated at the right hand of God today to show us that through His life, death, and resurrection, we too can have life and life everlasting. My life is full today, and I have real hope for tomorrow.

This may sound to simple to be all that true Born-Again Christianity is, but Jesus didn't think so. Jesus' simple invitation to us has been debated and elaborated upon for 2000 years, and I am convinced that men have tried to take the marvelous gift of His eternal love and life and fashion it into something complex and profound. They made it into something to be achieved and earned, only for the truly righteous and holy. Jesus gave it to us for free, in a way that even a child could receive it and have it for his own. Jesus wants us free, not bound. I know even in my own life, the love I have for my family and if I could, I would willing give my life for them, that they might have life. It's really very easy to understand.

If you would like to understand Jesus' love today, I would be pleased to help you.
